Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Silverline Freight and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for proof of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
