Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Memphis, TN)

Summit Wilder Construction is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for safety records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for safety records. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Memphis. • We reply to every applicant.
