Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Meridian Inspection Services and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for client sites. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
