Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Bright Manufacturing and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be delivery tracking. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
