Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Kansas City, MO)

Foxglove Birch Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Kansas City with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for recycling loads. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
