Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Kansas City, MO)

Ironwood Lakeside Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
