Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Jackson, MS)

Nova Birch Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Jackson. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
