Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Grand Rapids, MI)

Westbrook Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Grand Rapids plant. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 67 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for allergen controls. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
