Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Grand Rapids, MI)

Westbrook Clear Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on delivery tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 562 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Knowledge of freight terms.
