Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Grand Rapids, MI)

Bright Cross Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Grand Rapids with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for recycling loads. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
