Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Hollow Telecom is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on delivery tracking for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for billing accounts. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Knowledge of freight terms.
