Senior Logistics Coordinator - delivery tracking (Birmingham, AL)

Clearpath Glen Foods is a Birmingham food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our delivery tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for production batches. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
