Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Virginia Beach, VA)

Cedar Bright Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for production lines. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with production lines.
