Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Toledo, OH)

Fernwood Inspection Services is an inspection company in Toledo with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for client sites. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
