Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Toledo, OH)

Westbrook Fern Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Toledo. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for carrier rates. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
