Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Richmond, VA)

Westbrook Juniper Freight is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for customer tracking. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer tracking.
