Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (remote)

Bright Hollow Foods is a Detroit food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for ingredient orders. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
