Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Orlando, FL)

Northwind Granite Markets is a Orlando retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
