Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Memphis, TN)

Nova Sable Manufacturing Group is a Memphis manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. You would join a large organisation of about 559 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
