Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Kansas City, MO)

Greenridge Quill Inspection Services is an inspection company in Kansas City with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for equipment calibration. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
