Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Jackson, MS)

Cedar Bridge Telecom is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for field visits. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
