Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Orchard Farms Group and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be customs and documents. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for packing house output. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
