Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Houston, TX)

Rivermark Forge Freight is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
