Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Houston, TX)

Harborlight Vale Markets Group is a Houston retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Houston. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for shrink and waste. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
