Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Honolulu, HI)

Fernwood Yarrow Foods produces packaged foods at its Honolulu plant. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on customs and documents. You would join a small organisation of about 118 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for ingredient orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
