Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Grand Rapids, MI)

Greenridge Umber Foods Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on customs and documents for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 78 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for production batches. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Knowledge of freight terms.
