Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Silverline Ivory Foods Group and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be customs and documents. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for customer specifications. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
