Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Austin, TX)

Silverline Meridian Inspection Services is an inspection company in Austin with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our customs and documents. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Austin. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for certifications. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
