Senior Logistics Coordinator - customs and documents (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Redstone Fox Auto Group and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be customs and documents. You would join a small organisation of about 161 people based in Austin. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for vehicle inspections. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with vehicle inspections. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
