Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Toledo, OH)

Bright Quarry Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Toledo with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for fleet maintenance. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
