Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Spokane, WA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Beacon Press Partners and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for bindery work. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
