Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Savannah, GA)

Foxglove Vista Press is a printer and publisher in Savannah serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Savannah. • We reply to every applicant.
