Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Savannah, GA)

Silverline Oak Telecom Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for service installations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for service installations. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Savannah. • We reply to every applicant.
