Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (San Jose, CA)

Lumen Sable Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around San Jose, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a small organisation of about 77 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for service appointments. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service appointments. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
