Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Salt Lake City, UT)

Northwind Glen Foods produces packaged foods at its Salt Lake City plant. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for customer specifications. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
