Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Salt Lake City, UT)

Northwind Clear Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Salt Lake City. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
