Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (Rochester, NY)

Lumen Umber Inspection Services is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for scheduling. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Knowledge of freight terms.
