Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Ironwood Junction Markets Group is a Providence retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 613 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for online orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
