Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Ironwood Stone Foods produces packaged foods at its Kansas City plant. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for production batches. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
