Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Cedar Bridge Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Jackson. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for customer tracking. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
