Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Orchard Freight Group and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
