Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Oak Inspection Services and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for field inspections. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
