Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Ironwood Hollow Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for landfill records. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
