Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Cedar Glen Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Salt Lake City, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for test reports. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
