Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Summit Nest Press is a printer and publisher in Seattle serving local and national clients, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 743 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for press runs. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
