Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Harborlight Nest Markets serves neighbourhoods around Jackson with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for promotions. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with promotions. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
