Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Bright Lakeside Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Austin. We are hiring a Senior Logistics Coordinator to take on carrier coordination. You would join a large organisation of about 650 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for customer tracking. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
