Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Cross Inspection Services and adding a Senior Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be carrier coordination. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for test reports. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
