Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Amberfield Ashton Environmental Services Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on carrier coordination for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for collection routes. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with collection routes.
