Senior Logistics Coordinator - carrier coordination (remote)

Bright Rook Markets is a Jackson retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Senior Logistics Coordinator to lead our carrier coordination. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for shrink and waste. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
